- Identify the roles and responsibilities of governing bodies, leadership and IPC Leads.
- Understand the purpose of meaningful IPC performance
- Ask informed, risk-based questions about IPC performance.
- Identify when IPC risks require escalation and action.
- Differentiate between simply demonstrating compliance and meaningfully evaluating IPC performance.
- Establish stronger reporting and evidence frameworks for accreditation or certification.
Australian participants will explore the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, including Standard 2: The Organisation.
New Zealand participants will explore Ngā Paerewa NZS 8134:2021, including relevant IPC governance requirements and culturally responsive governance considerations.
